An Ann Stubbs wife of Thomas Stubbs was buried on 2 January 1634/5 at St Leonard, Thorpe - was this his mother?
It is unlikely that all the children listed had the same mother or father and I suspect there were at leat two families. A Thomas Stubbs son of Thomas Stubbs was baptised on 27 July 1634, another Thomas Stubbs, son of Thomas Stubbs was baptised on 11 Septemer 1634, and a Francis Stubbs son of Thomas Stubbs was baptised on 25 September 1636, all at St Leonard, Thorpe, but only the father's name is given in all cases.
There is no record of his marriage but the children listed are those of Thomas and Ann or Anne. There were no entries made in the years 1643 to 1656 but some names were added later. Note that there are apparently different families such as Stubbs de Hole and Stubbs de Fold. John son of Tho and Anne Stubbs was baptised 20 March 1654 at St Leonard, Thorpe. William Stubbs Tho and Anne Stubbs was baptised 13 March 1659 Thomas Stubbs son of Thomas and Ann Stubbs was baptised 1 May 1662 Hannah Stubbs daughter of Tho and Anne Stubbs was baptised on 1 May 1662 Francis Stubbs son of Tho and Anne Stubbs was baptised 13 June 1667
There are two entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Thomas Stubbs born in 1611, his marriage to Ann, son Thomas, and death in 1680, and another for his baptism on 24 August 1610 (however this was the baptism of William) in Thorpe, Derbyshire, parents John Stubbs and Maud the Widow, his marriage to Elizabeth, and to Anne with eight children and his death in 1680.
Thomas Stubbs was Felicity's eighth great grandfather.
