Thomas and Gwendoline divorced on 9 Nov 1944, Gwenodoline remarried Ron Capper and he adopted both children, therefore their surnames were changed to Capper.
Maxwell first married Laurel Joyce Hawkes and they had 3 daughters: Debra Gail, Angela Marie and Vicki Lee, all of whom were
given the surname Capper. Maxwell and Laurel divorced and Maxwell married
Helen ? and they had 4 children who were also given the surname Capper. They
were Shaun, Scott and twin Girls Ingrid and Yvette. Ingrid went on to marry
George Hawea (a maori guy from New Zealand).
Maxwell and Helen divorced in
the 1980's and he went on to marry Ann Andersen 2 or 3 years before his passing.
Maxwell changed his surname to his mothers maiden name and changed the spelling
of Maxwell to Macswell after the passing of his mother in 1990.
Maxwell Charles Snelling changed his name twice in his life, to Capper when his mother Gwendoline married Ronald Capper and he was legally adopted by Ronald, then later changed his name to his mother's maiden name which was Davies.
Maxwell Charles Snelling married Laurel Andersson (she later remarried James Amos, surname became Amos).

Max's children were Capper when they were born, Shaun and Scott are still Capper, Ingrid is now Ingrid Hawea. Victoria Capper became Victoria Lingham after marrying Michael Lingham. Do not believe Angela or Deborah married, so are still Capper.
Maxwell Charles Snelling was my half third cousin once removed.
