Too Much Lipstick are a strange bunch; hailing from the South West, they started life as a happy accident. Forced together at music college, these 5 unlikely lads hit it off and quickly began crafting songs that earned them a solid reputation in their home town of Bath. With a Unique sound that’s been described as “Kodaline meets Plan B”... TML offer up a delicious slice of more-ish heartfelt indie rock. The line up.... TML go one step further than Def Leppard... with a deaf drummer -who they all admit is pivotal in the band and holds the rest of them firmly in place. Joe Sgroi’s hard-hitting, intense but expert rhythm is accompanied by Tom Brawn on bass; the quietest most unassuming of the gang, until he hits the stage, and evolves into a slightly demented Wurzel Gummage with pumping bass lines to boot. Ben is the chic-geek guitarist-best looking of the bunch and some say Ed Sheeran's lost twin. Up front is Pete Mooney whose swooning, emotive lead vocals harmonize effortlessly with the pitch-perfect dulcet tones of their 2nd frontman and keyboardist: Louis Regler. The plan.... Despite recent legitimate approaches from UK labels, TML are keen to lay low for the time being; preferring to hone their song-writing skills and continue to a whip up a storm playing as many shows as possible over the next few months. Their biggest show to date was supporting global cake-making superstar : Mary Berry when they played to over 3,000 people at the infamous Bath Xmas Lights Switch on. These boys are not afraid of hitting you square in the face with their unashamedly catchy pop rock. With blissful harmonies, anthemic choruses and foot stomping feel good melodies, TML will never fail to put a smile on your face and a nice warm fuzzy feeling in your heart!!!
