Her mother married Alan Thomas in Hyde in 1967 and her father married June Cookson [Nimetty] in 1970 by whom he had had two sons in 1966 and 1968.
Jill Potter was the daughter of George R Potter, husband of June Cookson, wife of Frederick G Nimetty, first cousin five times removed of George Marden, husband of Elizabeth Hall, my second great grandaunt.
