Birth of Henry Charles Payne in FreeBMD in July-September 1867 in St Saviour (1d 19).
In 1871 census as Henry I Payne aged 4, born in Southwark, Surrey, and living with his parents (George W and Francis), two brothers (Frederick and George) and sister (Mary) at 13 Tower Steet, St George, Southwark, Surrey (there were 4 families living at this address). I cannot find this in the London A-Z, but from the census it is close to Westminster Bridge Road near St George's Circus).
The family were living at 13 Tower Street, Southwark at the birth of his sister in 1874, his brother was born in Greenwich in late 1876, his mother died there in 1877 and his father married Sarah Jane Gill in Thanet in 1879.
In 1881 Census as Henry J Paine aged 14, born in Lambeth, Surrey , employed as a Brass Founder, and living with his his father (George W), (step)mother (Sarah) and two brothers (Frederick and George) and sister (Emma L A) at 38 Clyde street, Deptford St Paul, Kent.
Henry Charles Payne was my granduncle.
