T Payne has an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Friend Payne born in December 1843 in Brighton, parents Friend Payne and Elizabeth Denyer, his marriage to Ann Mathis ibn Islington in March 1866, his two sons, and the 1851-1901 census entries. Christony Slater and Adam Watts has similar entries. Rebecca Bradding does not identify his mother. Taz Loorna gives his birth in 1844, and an additional son William in 1860 due to the confused entry in the 1871 census.
Friend Paine was my eighth cousin three times removed.
