In the 1871 census as Elizabeth Paine aged 8, born in Brighton, and living with her parents (Joseph and Emma), three brothers (George, Henry and William), two sisters (Annie and Caroline) and a lodger (Charles Still aged 26, born in Brighton, unmarried and employed as a bricklayers labourer) at 48 Denmark Road, Willesdon, Middlesex (just east of Queens Park Underground ).
Her father died in 1871 and her mother remarried.
In the 1881 census as Elizabeth Paine aged 18, born in Brighton, unmarried, employed in the general grocery business, and lodging with James Fielder (aged 39, born in Brighton) and employed as an agricultural labourer, his wife (Mariam aged 42 and born in Brighton), and their children (Friederick E aged 14 and employed as a farm servant, Lydia K aged 11, and Ruth aged 5 all born in Brighton) at 4 Picton St, St. Peter, Brighton.
I cannot find any later information.
Elizabeth Paine was my eighth cousin three times removed.
