Birth of Female Mitchell in FreeBMD in October-December 1855 in Worthing (2b 245) which included West Tarring (I assume this is her by a process of elimination).
In the 1861 census as Susanna Mitchell aged 5, born in West Tarring, and living with her parents (William and Susanna), two brothers (Horace and William) and sister (Emma) at 25 South Street, West Tarring, Sussex.
Her father died in 1863 or 1865.
In the 1871 census as Susan Mitchell aged 15, born in Tarring, Sussex, and a servant living with Phillis Stubler (aged 70, born in Broadwater, widowed and a grocer), Phillis sister (Harriett Paine aged 64, born in Broadwater, single and living on income from house property) and nephew (George Paine aged 11 and born in Brighton) at 54 High Street, Broadwater, Worthing.

In the 1901 census as Susan Corpo (sic - in the index, Corps on the original) aged 44, born in West Tarring, Sussex, and living with her husband (Edward E), son (Wiliam C) and a boarder (Robert Deadman aged 21, born in Worthing, single and a carpenter) and a visitor (John Williams aged 42, born in Ballingham, Herefordshire, married and an architectural scultor) in 16 Belfast Street, Hove, Sussex.
On the entry in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for the death of her son William Charles in 1918 her address is given as 31 Landseer Rd., Hove, Sussex where her husband and daughter-in-law Winifred were also living.
Susan Mitchell was the husband of Edward Charles Corps, son of William Corps, husband of Tryphena Chambers Horsley, wife of Thomas Luff, my half first cousin twice removed.
