There are entries for the children of William Mills or Mill at All Saints, Headley from 1599 to 1637, but only the father's name is given except in 1637 when the mother Elizabeth is added, so it is not clear whether these are are the same William. This would put his birth before 1584, but the only two Wylliams recorded before then in Headley both died as infants. A Johane Mill, wife of William, was buried on 26 May 1607 - they had married on 1 July 1599 so I assume she was the mother of the children baptised up to then, and William may have remarried, perhaps Elizabeth. Als, daughter of William of Barford was buried 2 July 1628 - I cannot locate her baptismm unless she was the unnamed Mill baptised 8 October 1627. A William Mill was buried on 18 May 1654 and Elizabeth Mill, a widow was buried on 20 November 1661
