Entry in Ancestry London and Surrey, England, Marriage Bonds and Allegations, 1597-1921 for Mary Michenor aged 30 and John Bedford, a widower of of Southwark, St Saviour, aged 50 in Farnham on 2 September 1676. "2d September 1676 Which day appeared fformally Richard Martin ? Dr of Divinity Chaplain of the High Church of St. Saviours in Southwark in the County of Surrey and alleges that there was a marriage intending to be had and solemnized between John Bedford of the parish of St Saviours afores aged about 50 years & a widdower & Mary Michenor aged about 30 years and a single woman and he does not know or believe there is any lawfull ? or impedimentment to hinder that marriage in any ? ? ?or affinity or other wife ? [...] ? he maketh oath & Prayeth ? for them to be marryed in her parish Church of Ffarnham in the County of Surrey".

Entry in the West Surrey Family History Society West Surrey Marriages adding it was by license, and is immediately preceeded by a Marriage License Allegation for John Bedford of St Saviours, Southwark and Mary Michenor dated 2 September 1676. (Marriage License Allegations were sworn by one of the parties, usually the groom, to the to the effect that there was no impediment to the marriage and where the marriage would take place. The Archbishop of Canterbury, through his Vicar-General, issued common licences for couples to marry in any parish church or chapelry in the province of Canterbury which dispensed with the calling of banns on three successive Sundays.)

Her children were baptised on 24 December 1676, 7 September 1679, 21 August 1684, 17 January 1687 and 10 June 1690 at St Michael's and All Angels, Thursley, but only the father's name is given.

Her husband was probably buried on 7 September 1712 at St Michael and All Angels, Thursley although the surname is spelt Redford.
