"Page 74 Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Cauis College Mission in the County of Surrey in the Year One thosand nine hundred and five [...] 1905 June 16 May 20th No. 589 Amelia Emma [parents] Walter [a] Barman & Kate Luff of 35 Harroway Road." In 1887 some undergraduates and fellows from Gonville and Caius (pronouced keys) College Cambridge rented a house in Battersea and started a College “settlement” where former undergraduates from the College lived and ran a range of clubs for local residents. In 1891 it was called the College Mission Church changing to Cauis College Mission in 1905 with the last baptism on Easter Day 1907.
