Keiran Lockton commented on Representation 4640 on Development Management Plan Focused Consultation 6th July - 17th Aug 2012 Friends of Speckled Wood representation returned opposing any housing development in Speckled Wood. Options A, B & C consulted by the Council allow development to a greater or lesser degree. The Friends of Speckled Wood request a fourth option of no development in the woodland. Comments: I believe along with most people in our community that Ore is built up enough already and that we need to preserve what is left of our woodland/greenland for children to discover etc.
Keiran Lockton commented on Development Management Plan Revised Proposed Submission Version March 2014 Victoria Avenue oppose any housing development in the Speckled Wood area. I wish to see the Development Management Plan changed. I think it is extremely important to maintain some green space around where we live for wildlife, for kids to explore and play in. And also to stop the area in which we live from becoming a concrete jungle and making us feel even more hemmed in and therefore taking away from our quality of life even more.
