Emanuel Israel, 67, of 21 Guelph St., died Sunday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Born Oct. 2, 1897, in Woolwich Township, near Floradale, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Balthasar Isreal. He had lived in Kitchener for the past 43 years and during that time had beem employed at the L. McBrine Co. Ltd. He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wfe, the former Erma Eix, whom he married in 1922 in Elmira: a son Donald C. of Kitchener: a daughter, Mrs Raymond (Elaine) Clayfield of Brideport: two brothers, Henry of Elmira and Oscar of West Montrose: a sister, Mrs. Minnie Weber of Kitchener, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon on Wednesday when removal will be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church for a sevice at 2 p.m. Rev. John C. Korcok, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Elmira.
