I cannot locate her in the 1861 census but she was not living wth her parents.
In the 1871 as Mary F Hoad aged 26, born in Portsea, Hampshire, single, and a servant living with Isaac Byerly (aged 59, born in Portsea, Hampshire and a contractor) and his wife (Caroline aged 50 and born in Portsea, Hampshire) at 467 Commercial Road, Kingston, Portsea, Hampshire.
