In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Kenneth W Heavers born 17 August 1926, and living with Walter R and Jennie Heavers (parents?) at Burroyn, Bull Road, Billericay, Essex.
He was imprisoned in the war for refusing to either join the army or go down the mines accoding to my sister.

Heavers RAMC". Official correction to number. Information supplied by the vendor indicates. Private Kenneth Walter Heavers was born in 1926, it is believed that during WW2 he was at one stage imprisoned for refusing to join the Army and later worked in the Mines and in late 1944 he volunteered his services as a Conscientious Objector to the RAMC, he then volunteered for Parachute Training completing his training at Ringway in July 1945, he then joined 127th Parachute Field Ambulance RAMC, he was posted to Palestine in November 1945 earning the GSM and returned to the UK in January 1947.
