In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Harriet Mathews (sic - in the index, Matthews on the original)), born 10 May 1891 (sic - on the original), married, and living with Abert C, Henry and Harvey Matthews (sons?) and one other (daughter?) at 89 Suez Road, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Her husband was living with six other people at 23 Norwich Street, Cambridge.
Her husband died in Cambridge in 1954.
