On August 18 I had an X-ray at Poole hospital. I was admitted to Ward 3B immediately as I had broken my hip. I had a hip replacement operation the following day, and was discharged two days later. Being extremely nervous, I was given confidence, patience and understanding by all the staff. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the hospital and the good food. Poole hospital from admittance to discharge were fantastic. Sheila Stapely, Magna Road, Poole.

Note that Croydon was transfered from Surrey to Greater London in 1965.
