Notes

Birth of Arthur Ernest Fullick in FreeBMD in July-September 1893 in the Alton (2c 172) which included Grayshott.

Birth of Arthur Ernest Fullick in Headley Baptisms on 26 June 1893 and his christening on 13 August 1893 at Grayshott, parents Arthur James, a labourer living at Grayshott, and Sarah Fullick.

In the 1901 census as Arthur Fullick aged 4, born in Headley, and living with his parents (Arthur J and Sarah), two step-brothers (William and Jonah Lawrence), two brothers (Walter and Stanley), two sisters (Rosa and unnamed) and Aunt (Louisa Craft) at Stony Bottom, Grayshott.

Note that the entry in the Headley 1901 census incorrectly adds the initial J - this is not on the original.

There is an entry in Ancestry British Army WWI Medal Rolls Index Cards, 1914-1920 for Arthur Fullick in RFA 29 Res Bty 114266 enlisted on 15 October 1915 and was discharged on 29 December 1915 due to sickness (List R.A./306). No medal or badge mentioned.

Death of Arthur E Fullick in FreeBMD in January-March 1919 aged 25 in Hambledon (2a 300).

There is an entry in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for A E Fullick, a driver in the Royal Field Artillery, 29th Reserve Bty, service number 114266, and son of Arthur James and Sarah Fullick, of Stoney Vale, Grayshott who died on 6 January 1919 and was buried at Grayshott St. Luke 23E 194.

I assume that he died at a hospital in Hambledon district in 1919 from illness resulting from his spell in the army in 1915, but he was not directly involved in the war as he apparently did not receive the British War Medal.

Grayshott was not separated from Headley until 1 September 30 1902.
