In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Doris J (sic - on the original) Foulkes changed to Stimpson born 24 November 1925, and living with Henry C and Lattie Marian Foulkes (parents?), Jem E Foulkes (brother?) and Joan E Foulkes (sister?) at 54 Grafton Road, St Pancras, London.
Her father died in Hampstead in 1940.
