Miss Rosemary A. Duca and David R. Fincham, both of Venetia, were united in marriage at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 20, by Justice of the Peace John Van Voorhis of Venetia. After the ceremony the couple left for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, and other points of interest, and on their return will reside in their newly furnished home on the Venetia - Thomas Road at Thomas. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mauro Duca of Arlington, Va, formerly of Finleyville R. D. She is employed in the office of the J. C. Penney Company at Castle Shannon. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Fincham, Finleyville R. D., and the grandson of Mrs. Blanch Frew of Venetia. He is employed as a brick layer by DeFilippo Brothers, Canonsburg.

David R. Fincham, 63, of Washington, formerly of Venetia, died Saturday, September 28, 2002, in his home, following a brief illness. He was born December 28, 1938, in Venetia, a son of the late Russell E. and Marie Frew Fincham. Mr. Fincham was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Prosperity, where he was an elder. He owned and operated Fincham Masonry of Washington for 34 years. Mr. Fincham was an avid fisherman and liked working around the house with his wife. On May 20, 1967, in Venetia, he married Rosemary Duca, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Leonard Fincham of Finleyville; two nieces; and two nephews. Deceased is a brother, Donald Fincham. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM Saturday, October 5, in Bethel Presbyterian Church, Prosperity, with the Rev. Thomas Clymer officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church, 3905 Park Avenue South, Prosperity, Pa 15329 or Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 250 Mt.
