[No.] 205 Oct 16 1919 Walter Ellis [aged] 34 [a] Bachelor [and] Gardener [of] Abergele [father] William Ellis [a] Provision Merchant, [and] Bertha Rawlinson [aged] 33 [a] Spinster [of] Abergele [father] James Rawlinson [a] Collier. Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns [...] in the Presence of us, Robert Rawlinson, Archie Powell, Florence Ellis, [and] Frances Florence Ellis." Note that her name is Bertha in the entry but she signed her name Martha.

I cannot locate an entry for his death unless the age of the Walter Ellis who died in St Aslaph in 1948 is in error by 20 years.
