In the 1861 census as Jane E Dutton aged 13, born in Lambeth, Surrey and living with her parents (John and Jane Mary) and sister (Hannah) at 7 Berridge Road, Minster in Sheppey, Sheerness (between Trinity Road and Marine Parade).

In the 1871 census as Jane Eth Dutton aged 23, born in London, Surrey, single, employed as a milliner, and living with her parents (John and Jane) at 3 Unity Street, Sheerness.

In the 1891 census as Jane E Keir aged 43, born in Southwark, London, and living with her husband (James J), two sons (James R and Thomas H) and daughter (Mabel H) at at 107 Brackenbury Road, Hammersmith St John, London (off A402 Goldhawk Road).

In the 1901 census as Jane Keir aged 53, born in Borough, London, and living with her husband (James), two sons (James and Thomas), daughter (Mabel), neice (Eleanor Page aged 12 and born in Germany), and a servant (Mabel Root aged 16 and born in Sheerness, Kent) at 107 Brackenbury Road, Hammersmith St John, London.

Her husband died in 1909 in Fulham.

Relationship
