There are two entries in Ancestry Scotland, Select Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950 for Patrick Duncan baptised on 22 July 1715, parents James Dubncan and Agnes Mawer, one in Lundie and Fowlis, Angus, and the other in Auchterhouse, Angus.
There are two entries in Scotlands People Old Parish Registers. The first is partially illegible: Auchterhouse Friday 22 July "James Duncan lawful son Patrick Duncan ? Agnes ? his spouse ? was baptized before congregation this day". The second is clearly written. Lundie July 22 1715 "James Duncan tenant in Neuch (was this Neuk at NGR 306385?) with his wife Agnes Mawer had a child baptized in the Kirk of Auchterhouse by Mr Patrick Johnstoune, minister, there named Patrick witnessed by James Spankie and William Butchard". (A Will Butchart married Katharin Mawer in Auchterhouse in 1689 and James Spankie could be be his uncle).
A Patrick Duncan of Kettins married a Jean Spankie of Lundie in 1744, but the obvious Jean Spankie was his neice so I assume this refers to another Patrick Duncan.
Patrick Duncan was Felicity's fifth great granduncle.
