Her husband died in 1849.

In the 1851 census as Elizabth Ravn (sic - in the index, Kern on the original), aged 73, born in Witley, Surrey, widowed, infirm and on parish relief, and living with her four sons (George, James, John and William) at Weydown Common, Haslemere,Surrey.
