Birth of Emily Kate Croucher in FreeBMD in July-September 1897 in Farnham (2A 137). This was just a month after her parents married, and I assume this was at Pond Cottage, Churt. The marriage was not popular on the Croucher side, and she moved with her parents to her aunt Ann Croucher who was living in or near Mitcham, but soon after moved back to Churt to The Barracks.
Entry in Ancestry Hampshire, England, Nonconformist Registers, 1835-1921 for Emily Kate Croucher of Churt Parish baptised on 26 September 1897 on the Petersfield, Liphook and Haslemere Circuit. Crondall Bible Christian Circuit, Baptism Register "[No.] 415 Emily Kate [parents] James [a] Labourer & Ellen Croucher [of] Churt [on] Sep 26th 1897 [at the] Bible Christian Chapel Churt". I assume this was Star Hill Chapel built by the artist James Clarke Hook of Silverbeck.
Her sister was born on 28 October 1898 at The Barracks, Churt, and registered in October-December 1898 and baptised on 20 November 1898 at Churt Chapel when they were living in Churt.
Her brother was born on 28 October 1900, registered in October-December 1900 in Farnham, and baptised on 12 November 1900 at St John the Evangelist, Churt when they were living at The Barracks, Churt
In the 1901 census as Emily Croucher aged 3, born in Churt and living with her parents (James and Ellen), brother (William) and sister (Ellen) in two rooms at The Barracks, Churt, Frensham (this was in Whitmore Vale near the upper mill - it was separate to the other buildings known as The Barracks being next to the track to them and it has since been demolished).
Her brother was born on 4 December 1903, registered in January-March 1904 in Farnham, and baptised on 3 January 1904 at St John the Evangelist, Churt when they were living at The Barracks.
The family lived there until 1905 when they went to live with her grandmother at Keepers/Pond Cottage when her grandfather died. However they were given notice to quit soon afterwards when the owner, Mr Compton of Churt House, died, and then moved to Copse or Coppice Cottage on the Furzehills where they lived for 6 years.
Her brother was born on 4 January 1906, registered in January-March 1906 in Farnham, and baptised on 7 January 1906 at St John the Evangelist, Churt when they were living at Keeper's Cottage (Pond Cottage).

(Fairfield is just off Hale House Lane between Green Cross and Crabtree Lanes, and was built by her father and my father)."In loving memory of James Croucher died 11th October 1939 aged 78 and his wife Ellen died 25 August 1943 aged 71, also Emily Croucher died 23rd October 1926 aged 29".
