Birth in 1824 from my fathers records of Frensham parish records. I assume he was born at Old Kiln, Churt which was a tithing of Frensham.

In the 1851 census as Charles Croacher aged 26, born in Frensham, no stated emloyment, and living with his wife (Eliza) in Upper Churt, Frensham, Surrey.
His wife is stated as married in the 1861 census, but is living with her parents, and I cannot locate an entry for Charles after 1851. In the 1871 census she is living alone, but is stated to be married. However in the 1881 census she is a widow.

Note that Churt was a tithing of Frensham and I believe the Croucher family lived at Old Kiln in what was then known as Lower Churt.
