Birth of Alfred Croucher, mother's maiden name Hart, in FreeBMD in January-March 1920 in Kingston, Surrey (2A 1177).

In the 1921 census as Alfred Croucher aged 2, born in Hampton Wick, Middlesex, both pparents alive, and living with his parents (James Robert and Sarah F), brother (James R) and three sisters (Dorothy M, Grace E and Queenie E) in four rooms at 5 School Road, Hampton Wick, Kingston, Surrey.

His sister was born on 15 March 1922 and registered in April-June 1922 in Kingston.

He was not living with his parents in the 1939 Register.

Entry in Commonwealth War Graves Commission for Pte Alfred Croucher 2048252 The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey) in Rangoon War Cemetery on 27 July 1945 aged 25 and buried in Plot 2 Row C Grave 12, notes add "Service Number: 2048252 [...] The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey) 1st Bn. Date of Death Died 27 July 1945 Age 25 years old Gravesite Details Private, The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey). Age: 25." He died on 27 July 1945, and was buried on 28 July 1945 in 94 C/15 254144 Payabyo and reburied on 23 February 1946. "RAN.1/145/QR/1061/1/Q/A 2.C.12/2048252 Private/A. Croucher/The Queen's Royal Regiment/27th July 1945 Age 25".
