There were two Albert Edward Crouchers registered in January-March 1893 and July-September 1893 in Southampton, the former's death being in Southampton in 1972. I cannot locate any christening records so the two may be confused.

In the 1901 census as Albert Croucher aged 7, born in Southampton, and living with his parents (George and Alice), five brothers (Alick, George, Harry, Walter and William), and two sisters (Alice and Ethel) at 23 Balham Street, Southampton St Mary, Hampshire.
I cannot locate him in the 1911 census, but he was not living with his parents.
Entry in Ancestry British Army WWI Medal Rolls Index Cards, 1914-1920 for Albert E Croucher in 1st Hampshire Regiment 3/2894 awarded Victory, British and Star Medals (latter awarded to all who served on the strength of a unit or service in France or Belgium between 5th August and 22nd November 1914) having entered on 12 November 1914.

On the World Boxing Foundation Site it stated that Albert Croucher 1895-1950 fought in out of the UK and was the European Middleweight Champion - known record was 55 fights for 49 wins and 2 draws. (Note there is no record in FreeBMD for the birth of an Albert Croucher in 1895 and I believe a different Albert Croucher died in 1950). On the Prewar Boxing Site it stated "Albert Croucher (Southampton) total bouts 26 rounds 180 KOs 70.59% - active 1912 to 1923"
His daughter was registered in October-December 1919 in Southampton, mother's maiden name Earl.
In the 1921 census as Albert E Croucher born in Southampton, Hampshire, and living with Annie Elizabeth Croucher (wife?), Albert Edward Croucher (son?), Madeline Alberta Croucher (daughter?) and Daisy Stride (born in Southampton in 1907) in Southampton, Hampshire.
His son was registered in January-March 1921 in Southampton, mother's maiden name Earl.
