Her husband was in the 2nd Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment in Ceylon and India.
Her husband pleaded guilty on 19 October 1920 and sentenced to 6 months in Wandsworth prison for marrying Edith Mary Willson while his wife was alive although the marriage was not registered until January-March 1922 but a daughter was born in July-September 1920.
