Entry in the 1871 census for Ada Croucher aged 1, born in Kingston and living with her parents (Henry and Elizabeth), four sisters (Agnes, Elizabeth, Julia and Mary A) and brother (James) at Cowleaze Road, (off Acre Road), Kingston, Surrey.

Entry in the 1881 census for Ada Croucher aged 11, born in Kingston, and living with her parents (Henry and Elizabeth), two sisters (Agnes and Mary A) at 53 Elm Vale (there are both Elm Cresent and Elm Grove both off Cowleaze Road, but I cannot find an Elm Vale), Kingston.

Marriage of Ada Croucher to George Guyton in FreeBMD for April-June 1890 in Kingston District (2a 569) which included Norbiton.

Entry in the 1891 census for Ann Guyton aged 21, born in Kingston and living with her husband (George) and daughter (Daisey) in 4? rooms at 45 Vincent Road (not very legible but deduced from the enumeration district description as being off Cambridge Grove Road just north of Kingston cemetery), Kingston. This entry also lists a son George Grange? (given as Guyton in the index) aged 20, born in Norfolk, a labourer, and living in one room at this address - I assume he was a lodger.

Entry in the 1901 census for Ann Guyton aged 31, born in Kingston, and living with her husband (George), two sons (Alfred and George) and two daughters (Daisy and Elizabeth) at 6 York Road, Kingston.

In the 1911 census as Ada Guyton aged 41, and living with George (husband?), Ada, Alfred, Daisy, Elizabeth, George and Nelson (children?) in Kingston, Surrey. I cannot find an entry for the birth of Nelson.

Pauline Biggs has an entry in RootsWeb WorldConnnect for Ada Croucher born on 22 December 1870 in Kingston On Thames, Surrey, parents Henry Croucher and Elizabeth Hollingdale, baptised on 28 February 1875 at St Peters, Norbiton, her marriage to George Guyton, and four children (Daisy, George Henry, Elizabeth Ann and Alfred James). The date of the marriage was supplied in a private communication adding she was a spinster and he a bachelor of Norbiton, it was at St Peters, Norbiton, and the witnesses were Edward and Lizzie Croucher.

Pauline Piggs also has an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees giving similar information, adding Ada May and Thomas F as children. Another entry gives her birth in 1870, parents Henry Croucher and Elizabeth Hollingdale.

Relationship

Ada Croucher was the aunt of Frederick George Croucher, husband of Mary Ann Fullick, my fourth cousin once removed.
