In the 1841 census as William Clark aged 10 months, born in Northumberland, and living with William and Mary Clark (parents), and George and John Clark (brothers?) in Killingsworth, Long Benton, Northumberland.

His brother was registered in January-March 1943 in Tynemouth.

His sister was registered in April-June 1845 in Durham.

His brother was born in Lamesley and registered in Chester le Street in April-June 1849.
