Entry in Padlet Samuel Ronald Carr WWII. Joined the Army as a Defence spot light operator in Dover and later became a Captain in charge of Italian soldiers at Westbury Prisioner of War Camp. He was known for his kindness and respected by many. But to me he was the best Grandad ever.
Samuel Ronald Carr was the husband of Constance Emilie Jordan, half-sister of Harold Graham Jordan, husband of Doris Grocock, my half third cousin, and she was also the great grandneice of Edgar Jordan, husband of Amy Luff, my half first cousin twice removed.
