There is an entry in the IGI for the marriage of Jone Brown and Edmond Fullicke on 6 August 1583 in Bramshot, Hampshire.
There is an entry in the Ancestral File for Joan (Jone) Brown(e) born and christened 1563 in Bramshott, married Edmu(o)nd Fullicke 6 August 1583 in Bramshott and was buried on 24 May 1631 in Bramshott. The same information is in the Pedigree Resource File.
However there is a submitted entry in the IGI for the marriage of Joan Fullick and John Bedle on the 19 May 1608 in Winton, Hampshire. There is also an entry in Ancestry Hampshire, England: Parish and Probate Records for a marriage licence in Dampshire (sic - I assume Hampshire) in the Registry of the Bishop of Winchester for Jno Bedle of Headley butcher & Joan Fullick of the s wid, at St Maur Winton (this is St Maurice, Winchester) 19 May 1608. (Only the Norman tower remains of St. Maurice's Church in Winchester, standing on the edge of the Cathedral churchyard. The rest of the building was torn down in the late 1950s.)
I believe that this was the second marriage of Joan whose husband had died in 1606 (it states she was a widow of Headley), and that the burial mentioned in the Ancestral and Pedigree Resource Files refer to her daughter Joan. However I cannot find any evidence that the marriage actually took place - it is not in Phillimore's Volume 13 (marriages at St Maurice, Winchester 1538-1837). There are also children of a John Bedle who are christened in Bramshott too late to be children of Joan. There are two entries in FamilyHistoryOnline Hampshire Burials for John Bedle in Bramshott - 8 Aug 1621 and 5 Feb 1641 so there were two John Bedles.
There is an entry in RootsWebWorldConnect for Joan Brown born about 1563 in Bramshott, her marriage to Edmund Fullick on 6 August 1583 in Bramshott, five children (not Mary) and her death in Bramshott in 1631 (which I believe to be her daughter).
There are seven entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees with similar information, three of which only give one child John and the rest all the children including Mary.
Joan Browne was my ninth great grandmother.
