I cannot locate her birth - some suggest 30 March 1631 in Thursley, but she would be 44 at the birth of her last child, and others 7 March 1644 in Petworth, but that is a long distance away.

Two entries in Ancestry Surrey, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 one for the marriage of Joan Boxall and Robert Roomer (sic) on 16 November 1665 at Thursley, St Michael and All Angels, the original being illegible, and the other for the marriage of Robert Keen and Joan Boxal on 16 November 1665 at Witney, All Saints "Marriages 1665 1666 [...] Novemb: 16 1665 Robert Keen and Joan Boxall [not sure of last l] of Witley were married being thrice afked according to the Canon."
Her son was baptised on 28 July 1667 at St Michael and All Angels, Thursley, surname Keen.
His daughter was baptised on 27 April 1670, son on 3 March 1671/72 and daughter on 9 May 1675, all at St Michael and All Angels, Thursley, surname Keenes.
Her husband was buried on 7 November 1707 at St Michael and All Angels, Thursley, and in his will "being at Bowlehead in the ? of Thursley aforesaid and the ? of my houfehold goods unto Joan my loving wife for and during the? her natural life and not longer ?"
