In the 1841 census as John Blanchflower aged 15, born in Norfolk and living with Carington and Sarah Blanchflower (parents?) and William Blanchflower (brother) in North Creake, Norfolk.

His mother died on 9 December 1845, registered in October-December 1845 in Docking, and was buried on 21 December 1845 at St Mary the Virgin, North Creake.

Marriage of John Blanchflower and Jane Harrison in FreeBMD in January-March 1849 in Docking (13 125).

In the 1851 census as John Blanchflour aged 26, born in North Creake, Norfolk, an agricultural labourer, and living with his wife (Jane) and widowed father (Terrington) in Church Street, North Creake, Norfolk.

His daughter was born in North Creake from the census entry, but I cannot locate any other information regarding her.

In the 1861 census as John Blanch aged 36, born in North Crake (sic - on the original), Norfolk, a ballast crane labourer, and boarding with his wife (Jane) and daughter (Sarah), with Elizabeth Robinson (aged 60, born in Whittingham, Northumberland, widowed and no stated employment), and two other boarders (David Gowonlod (Gowenlock) aged 45, born in Wigton, Cumberland, single and an enginesmith, and Louisa Goods aged 19, born in North Crake, Norfolk, single and no stated employment) in Pit Row, Hedworth, Durham.

His wife's death was registered in April-June 1863 in South Shields.

I cannot locate his marriage to Mary Ann - she may have been still married.

Four entries in Ancestry Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Electoral Registers, 1741-1974 for John Blanchflower house in Leighton Street, Jesmond from 1873 to 1875, and Thomson Street, Byker from 1876 to 1877

Death of John Blanchflower in FreeBMD in January-March 1876 aged 50 in Newcastle T (10B 86).

There are four entries in Ancestry Family Trees for John Blanchflower adding his marriage to Mary Ann Skelton on 7 March 1852 by license although I cannot locate a registration for the marriage and 1852 seems far too early from the 1861 census and the birth of Jonathan George Skelton.
