In Scotlands People it states Rattray, Perth March 16 1667 "John Baxter in ? had a son baptised called John"
There are three entries in the IGI for the marriage of John Baxter - to Margreat Walls on 6 June 1702 in Blairgowrie, Perth, and to Margaret Wandless on 7 June 1702 in Rattray and in Perth. The same information is in Scotlands People
In Scotlands People it also states: Blairgowrie, Perth 1702 June 6 "John Baxter in this parish brought a ? from the parish of Rattray showing him to be lawfully contracted in order unto marriage with Margreat Walls ??"
All the children were christened in Blairgowrie, only the father John Baxter being given for the first two and Margaret (various spellings) Wandless for the others.
Rattray is on the east of the Ericht and Blairgowrie on the west in A93, 18 miles NW of Dundee.
John Baxter was Felicity's sixth great grandfather.
