Entry in Scotlands People Parish Records for Alexander Baxter baptised 24 October 1711 in Blairgowrie (335/ 10 57), parents John Baxter and Margaret Wandless FR60 it states: "Page 24 1711 Baptisms [...] October 24th [...] Baxter Edom? did John Baxter in Maus and Margaret Wandlefs had a child bapt: called Alexander". I guess this refers to Mains of Mause some 2 miles north between A93 and the River Ericht.
