Notes

Birth of Walter Baker in FreeBMD in April-June 1896 in Gloucester (6a 274).

In the 1901 census as Walter Baker aged 4, born in Gloucester, and living with his two brothers (Alfred R and George F), three sisters (Annie J, Edith C and Nellie J), a visitor (Jefferies Pitt aged 21, born in Ebby Stroud, Gloucestershire, single, and employed as a drapers assistant) and a servant (Florence A Grainger aged 18, born in Gloucester, and single) in Alexander Road, Gloucester St Nicholas, Gloucestershire. Note that there is no head of household - I assume his parents were just visiting his uncle Alfred and family at 3 Stensham Hill, Moseley, Kings Norton, Worcestershire.
