Birth of Walter Baker in FreeBMD n October-December 1854 in Hartley Wintney (2c 119) which included Odiham.

In the 1861 census as Walter Maker (sic - on the original) aged 6, born in Odiham, and living with his parents (Thomas and Susan), four brothers (Alfred, Frederick, George A and Joseph H), sister (Elizabeth), a lodger (Elizabeth Pharoh aged 63, born in Odiham, widowed and independent), an apprentice (John Sharp aged 15 and born in Odiham and a visitor (Eliza Colyer aged 16, born in Elstead, Surrey and a farmer's daughter) in the High Street, Odiham.

In the 1871 census as Walter Baker aged 17, born in Odiham, Hampshire, employed as an assistant clothier, and living with Jabez Greenfield (aged 36 in the index, 56 on the original, born in Mitcham, Surrey, a widower, and employed as a clothier), his daughter (Rachel aged 31, born in St George in The East, Middlesex, single and a housekeeper), a visitor (his daughter-in-law Sarah aged 26 and born in Buckinghamshire), two boarders (F E March aged 46, born in Marylebone, Middlesex, a widow, and an annuitant, and Elizabeth Beck aged 56, born in London, widowed, and working in railways) and a servant (Eliza Smith aged 14 and born in Merton, Surrey) at Merton Road, Wimbledon, Surrey.

I cannot find an entry in the 1881 census.

In the 1891 census as Walton (sic - on the original) Baker aged 36, born in Odiham, Hampshire, a draper and employer, and living with his wife (Mary E), and a servant (Edith H Baker aged 18, born in Surgins, Hampshire and single) at 23 Dyne Road, Kilbirn, Willesden, Middlesex.

Both sons were born in Brondesbury, Willesden. Middlesex.

In the 1901 census as Walter Baker aged 46, born in Odiham, Hampshire, a draper and employer, and living with his wife (Mary E), two sons (Frank and William G), and two servants (Annie James aged 26, born in Kilburn, London and Edith J Paith aged 25 and born in Easington, Gloucestershire, both single) at 11 Winchester Avenue, Willesdon, Middlesex (very near Brondesbury Park railway station).

In the entry in Commonwealth War Graves for the death of William Godfrey Baker on 1 July 1916, he was the son of Walter and Mary Emma Baker of 80 New King's Rd., Fulham, London.
