Notes

Entry in the IGI for the christening of Nicholas Baker on 20 May 1720 in Headley, Hampshire, parents Christopher Baker and Anne. The same information is in Ancestry All England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975.

Entry in Ancestry All Surrey, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 for Nicholas Baker baptised on 20 May 1720 in Headley, All Saints, parents Christopher and Anne Baker. "1720 [...] May 20 Nicholas the Son of Christopher & anne Baker was baptized".

Entry in the IGI for the marriage of Nicholas Baker and Ann Louland on 21 May 1736 in Haslemere, Surrey. The same information is in Ancestry England, Select Marriages, 1538-1973.

There are two entries in West Surrey Family History Society West Surrey Marriages for Nicholas Baker and Ann Louland of Headley Hampshire in Haslemere, one on 21 May 1735 and the 21 May 1736. (Although this states Ann came from Headley, it would make more sense if Nicholas came from Headley and Ann from Haslemere - I cannot find Louland, Lonland, Loveland in Headley records).

Entry in Ancestry All Surrey, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 for the marriage of Nicholas Baker and Ann Lonland on 21 May 1735 at Haslemere, St Bartholomew. ] "3? [...] Nicholas Baker & Ann Louland of Headly was Married May ye 21". The first two digits of the year are missing, the previous page is headed Marriages 1721, the previous year is 34 and the next year immediate after Nicholals is 37, and the last digit of the year for Nicholas is indistinct and could be a 5 or a 6 - there appears to be a complete year with no marriages, but the previous marriage was 8 February and the 1736 year started on March 25 so I assume this was 1736.

All three children were christened in Headley, parents Nicolas and Anne.

There are two submitted entries in the IGI for his birth in Haslemere in about 1711, and his marriage to Ann Lonland on 21 May 1736. Another submitted entry just gives the marriage to Ann Lonland on the same date, and another to Ann Louland on the same date.

There is an entry in Headley Burials for Nicolas Baker on 17 November 1742 - was this the same person, and were the children brought up by his parents?

Entry in Headley Wills for Baker Nicholas in 1747 with note "Will Admon renunc yeoman; bur choice 1742 or 1753" which I assume that administration of the will was renouced in 1747 but it is not clear which was the date of death
