Her sister was born in Fulham in 1893.
In the 1901 census as Mignon Bakes (sic - in the index, Baker on the original) aged 13, born in Fulham, London, and living with her parents (Fred and Sarah Ann), brother (Richard), and two sisters (Dorothy and Gertrude) at 26 Grovenor Road, Aldershot, Hampshire.
In the 1911 census as Mignon Kate Baker aged 23, born in Fulham SW, single, a draper's assistant and visting Mary Adelaide Tont (aged 30, born in New Cross, married for 4 years with one child, and a draper assisting in the business), her daughter (Lillian Mary Tont aged 8.5 months and born in Holloway), her mother (Mary Mason aged 55, born in Deddington, Oxfordshire, widowed and a draper assisting in the business), and brother (in-law? Wallace Victor Tont aged 23, born in Mark, Somerset, single, and a draper's assistant) in seven rooms at 706 Holloway Rd, Upper Holloway, Islington, London.

She was single and previously employed as a shop assistant, and was going to Canada to settle. She had £50 in the Post Office and £50 in bonds. Her destination was Hamilton, Ontario with her fiancee Mr W Mitchell at 12 Hunt Street, Hamilton City. Her nearest UK relatives were Mr and Mrs F Baker address 26 Grosvenor Road, Aldershot.
Entry in Ancestry Ontario, Canada, Marriages, 1801-1928 for Mignon Katie Baker born in England in 1887, parents Frederick Baker and Sarah Ann Baker to William Percy Mitchell born in 1891 in England, parents William Mitchell and Elizabeth Madgwick, on 10 November 1921 in Wentworth. The affidavit states she was a spinster, and the marriage and future residence were in Hamilton, she had no stated employment and her future husband was a salesman. It appears this was a bigamist marriage as he was still married to Elsie Brown.
Entry in Ancestry Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935 for Mignon Mitchell born in 1887 in England who departed Southampton on Empress of Scotland and arrived on 1 August 1925 in Quebec. She had been in Canada between November 1921 and April 1925, address 18 Wexford Avenue, Hamilton. Her husband is in the next entry but his dates are September 1921 to July 1925 and the address given is 32 Marmaduke Street, Toronto.
Entry in Ancestry UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960 for Mignon Mitchell born on 13 July 1887 who departed Montréal, Québec, Canada on the Ivernia arriving on 11 August 1955 at Liverpool, England. She was married, a housewife, a resident of Canada and visiting 1 West Lea Road, Newbridge Hill, Bath, Somerset for 2 months. Although there is a William Mitchell on the next entry, if this was her husband the date of birth etc. are incorrect - he may have been a totally unrelated person.
There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Mignon Katie Baker born on 13 July 1887 in Fulham, Middlesex, and her marriage to William Percy Mitchell on 10 November 1921 in Wentworth, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. Another entry adds her father as Frederick Baker, and another her mother as Sarah Ann Baker and another as Sarah Ann Bird and a daughter who married Stanley Peter Woods and two sons and two daughters. Maike Anderson adds her baptism on 18 September 1887 in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk.
An entry in an Ancestry Message Board for William Percy Mitchell 27/12/1892 states "However I have discovered that William left the UK in 1921 to Canada and married a Mignon Katie Baker, from Fulham (B: 1887) in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada in November 1921. Obviously this would now appear to make him a bigamist as he and Elsie never divorced. If Elsie was to be believed, he was a bit of a rogue anyway...!"
Mignon Katie Baker was my third cousin twice removed.
