In the 1871 census as George Baker aged 75, born in Frensham, Surrey, widowed, a famer of 22 acres employing 2? men and living with seven lodgers (John Baker (his brother), Joseph Baker (his nephew), his wife Elizabeth, three sons (Allen, Frank and George), and Charles Dutton aged 85, born in Frensham, single and a labourer), and a servant (Maria Carby (sic in the index Larby on the original, Maria Larby on the original, daughter of Samuel and Ann who were living next door)) at Crosswaters, Churt, Frensham.

Entry in FreeBMD for the death of George Baker in January-March 1877 aged 81 in Farnham (2a 64).

I can find no entry for his marriage so his wife's surname is a guess.

In Bakers of Headley it states "John’s second child by his first marriage, George, was born in 1795. Nothing further is known at present."

Ron Baker has an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for George Baker christened on 14 August 1795 in Headley, Hampshire, parents John and Hannah Baker.

Gillian Divine in A Time of Change 2005 p 61 states that George Baker was People's Church Warden at Churt sometime after 1868.
