Birth of Eugene Nicholas Baker in FreeBMD in July-September 1892 in Farnham (2a 132). He was probably born at the Crossways Inn, Churt from the 1891 census.

His brother Albert was born in Upton Park, Essex in 1897 and the family moved to East Ham before 1899 from the birth of Isabel.

In the 1901 census as Eugene W (sic - in the index, N on the original) Baker aged 8, born in Churt, Faversham (Frensham), Surrey, and living with his parents (John N and Helen), three brothers (Albert E, Herbert J and John N) and sister (Isabel V) at 200 Wakefield Street, East Ham, Essex.

In the 1911 census as Engene (sic) Nicholas Baker aged 18, born in Churt, and living with John Nicholas and Helen (parents?), Albert Edward, Herbert John, John Nicholas and Norman John (brothers?) and Irene Nichola, Isabel Vera and Madelene Eunice (sisters?) in West Ham, Essex.

His son was born in West Ham.
