Christening of Clara Baker in the IGI on 19 March 1843 in Frensham, Surrey, parents John and Mary Baker.

In the 1851 census as Clara Baker aged 8, born in Frensham, Surrey and living with her parents (John and Mary), four brothers (Albert, Joseph, Seller and Stephen), and six sisters (Ellen, Emley, Kate A, Maria, Matilda and Priscille), a visitor (Angelina Mary aged 19, born in Richmond, Surrey, single and no stated employment) and a servant (George Glaysher aged 22, born in Headley, Hampshire, single and an agricultural labourer) in Lower Churt, Frensham, Surrey.

In the 1861 census as Clare (sic - on the original) Baker aged 18, born in Frensham, Surrey, single, no stated employment and living with her parents (John and Mary), five brothers (Albert, Joseph , Maurice, Selbe and Stephen), and three sisters (Kate, Metilda and Prisille) in Churt, Frensham, Surrey.

In Bakers of Headley it states John’s eighth child, Clara, was baptized on 19 March 1843.

Susan F Belsey has an entry for Clara Baker christened on 19 March 1843, daughter of John Baker and Mary Moorey, and her death in 1935. However I cannot find an entry for her death or any marriage or census entries after 1861.

Relationship

Clara Baker was my half first cousin three times removed.
