Her mother was buried in Alton on 29 December 1812 and her father married Sarah Stone on 11 February 1814 in Hartley Wintney by whom he had two children Sarah born in 1818 and John born in 1822.

In the 1861 census as Elisabeth (sic) Warren aged 58, born in Alton, Hampshire, widowed, a dealer in fancy goods, and living with a servant (Sarah Hutton aged 17, born in Newton, Hampshire and single) in High Street, Alton, Hampshire.

In the Ancestry1871 census as Elizabeth Warren aged 69, born in Alton, Hampshire, widowed, a retired ironmonger, and lodging with a servant (Caroline Milbury aged 17 and born in Holybourne, Hampshire) in the High Street, Alton, Hampshire. It is not clear who she was lodging with but the next entry is for Eliza Barham (aged 73, born in Chelsea, London, widowed and house proprietress) and her daughter (Emily aged 43 and born in Redenhall, Suffolk).

"Warren Elizabeth Effects under £2,000. 13 August. The Will of Elizabeth Warren late of Alton in the County of Southampton who died 6 June 1873 at Alton was proved at Winchester by Charles Ginger Ironmonger and William Trimmer Gentleman both of Alton the Executors". Charles Ginger was the husband of her half-sister Sarah.
