In the 1861 census as Samuel G Absalom aged 8, born in Blyth, and living with his mother (Elizabeth), bother (John), sister (Emily), a lodger (Gabriel Hindhaugh aged 34, born in Long Framlington, Northumberland, unmarried and employed as a contractors agent), and a servant (Ellen Cooper aged 19, born in Blyth and unmarried) in North Street, Blyth.
I cannot find an entry in the 1871 census.

In the 1881 census as Samuel George Absalom aged 27, born in Blyth, employed as a butcher employing one boy, and living with his wife (Margaret Dixon), wife's uncle (Joseph Dixon aged 74, born in Rothbury, Northumberland, unmarried and employed as a joiner) and two visitors (I suspect boarders - Ann E McLain aged 35, born in Widden Lane, Northumberland and employed as a dairymaid and Isabella McLain aged 25, born in Hepburn, Northumberl and employed as a dressmaker, both unmarried) at 12 Croft Street, Blyth, Tynemouth, Northumberland.
In the 1891 census as Samuel G Absalom aged 37, born in Blyth, employed as a commision agent, and living with his wife (Margaret D) daughter (Margaret B) and wife's uncle (Joseph Dixon aged 84, born in Rothbury, unmarried and a retired joiner) at 13 Croft Street, Blyth.
His wife died in 1891.
In the 1901 census as Samuel Geo Abraham (sic - in the index, correct on the original), aged 47, born in Blyth, widowed, employed as a commission agent, and liviing with his daughter (Margaret B) in three rooms in Croft Street, Cowpen, Northumberland.

Samuel George Absalom was the second cousin of Susannah Emily Absalom, the wife of George Fullick, my third cousin twice removed.
