In the 1901 census as John Abraham (sic - in the index, Absolam on the original) aged 40, born in Blyth, employed as a miner hewer, and living with his wife (Mary), and five sons (Benjamin, Maggie (who was his daughter), Matthew, Robert and Willie) in two rooms at Croft Street, Cowpen, Northumberland.
Blyth, Cowpen and Horton are all next to each other.
John Absalom was the second cousin of Susannah Emily Absalom, the wife of George Fullick, my third cousin twice removed.
