Street, Cowpen, Northumberland

Marriage of Jane Absalom and Matthew Moscropp(sic) in FreeBMD in January-March 1881 in Tynemouth (10b 249).

In the 1881 census as Jane Muscrop (sic) aged 20, born in Blyth, Northumberland and living with her husband (Mattw. Muscrop) at 13 Arthur Steet, Cowpen, Northumberland.

In the 1891 census as Jane Moscrap (sic) aged 28, born in Blyth, employed as a dressmaker and living with her her husband (Mathew) and daughter (Mary J) in 2 rooms at Old New Row, Cowpen.

Her husband died in 1900.

In the 1901 census as Jane Mosewp (sic) aged 37, born in Cowpen Quay, Blyth, employed as a dressmaker, a widow, and living with her daughter (Mary Jane) at 10 High Quay, Blyth.
