His son was born on 7 November 1832 and baptised on 28 November 1832 at St Luke, Chelsea when he was a carpenter living in Church Lane, surname Ably.

His son was born on 31 January 1835 and baptised on 10 May 1835 St Luke, Chelsea when he was a capenter living in Duke Street, surname Abberly.

His daughter was born on 7 October 1837, registered in October-December 1837 in Chelsea and baptised on 19 November 1837 at St Luke, Chelsea, when he was a carpenter living in Danvers Street, Chelsea, surname Abberly in both.

His daughter was registered in January-March 1840 in Kensington, surname Abbley.

His daughter was buried on 20 April 1841 aged 3 at St. Luke Chelsea.

"Page 23 1861 Marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of St Luke Chelsea in the County of Middlesex [No.] 43 May 20 George Abberly [aged] 25 [a] Bachelor and Sawyer [of] 10 Church St. [father] Thomas Abberly [a] Carpenter, and Mary Ann Harris [aged] 20 [a] Spinster [of] 10 Church St. [father] Richard Harris [an] Ostler. Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns [he signed his name, she made her mark]".

His first son was baptised at Saint Mary, Battersea on 3 Aug 1862, second son born in 1864, his daughter was born on 10 February 1866 and baptised on 11 April 1866, surname Abberley when he was a labourer, third son born on 15 August 1867 and baptised on 12 April 1868 when he was a sawyer, all at St Mary Battersea when they were living in Battersea, and second daughter in Wandsworth in 1870.

In the 1871 census as George Abberly aged 37, born in Battersea, Surrey, an under sawyer, and living with his wife (Mary A), three sons (George, John, and Thomas) and two daughters (Elizabeth and Sarah) at 12 Cottage Place, Battersea, Surrey.

In the 1881 census as George Abberly aged 48, born in Battersea, Surrey, a general labourer, and living with his wife (Mary Ann E), and a lodger (William Dorey aged 64,born in Hampshire, married, and a stone sawyer) at 44 Yelverton Road, Battersea. London. Three other families shared this address.
