Top Scouting awards
Two South Craven students have achieved the highest award presented to Scouts. Jonathan Abbey, of Cross Hills, and [...], both 19, were presented with the Queen's Scout Award by county Scout president, North Yorkshire Lord Lieutenant Lord Crathorne. Jonathan, who is studying aeronautical engineering at Leeds University, is an assistant leader with the 1st Kildwick and Farnhill Scouts, which he joined ten years ago.
